Amanda Bernice Witt (Myers) (Hill) -Also known as Mamma B, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026 in Ranger Tx and was reunited with her mother, Audrey Marie (Hickman) Witt and her father, Albert Lee Witt. What a joyous reunion it was! Although our hearts are breaking, we have peace knowing that she is no longer in pain. She can speak and walk again. Joining her in this glorious family reunion are her many brothers and sister: Rosa Lee Eicher, Nova June Palmer, Thomas Charles Witt, Hershel Leroy Witt, Martha Ann Hall, Maggie Pauline Page, Albert Frank Witt, Gracie Louella Bowlan, Leslie Graham Witt, Irma Jean Witt, Herbert LeeRay Witt, and Anna Marie Ozbirn.
Amanda was born in Ringling, OK and spent most of her life working in healthcare as a CNA, where she cared for others with dedication and compassion. She enjoyed cooking large meals for her friends and family and often brought people together around her table until she suffered a stroke in 2020 that left her partially paralyzed with aphasia. Always lending a helping hand and adopting wayward teens (or adults), she always had an extra bed, or a couch to sleep on, with breakfast in the morning.
Amanda enjoyed the simple things in life. She was a fan of racing legend Dale Earnhardt and could often be found relaxing with her favorite Marlboro Light 100s and a Bud Light. She was the baby of 14 and loved to spoil her grandchildren the same way she had been spoiled. When able, you could find her cheering on her grandkids in whatever sport or extra-curricular activity they were involved in, while always sporting her "Grammaws Favorite Player" t-shirt.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mischelle Myers Wells and Jennifer Farmer, both of Ranger; and four grandchildren, James "Jabo" Wells of Midland, Nico Farmer, Landon Farmer, and Addison Dunson, all of Ranger, and at least 30 nieces and nephews.
Amanda will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be missed dearly and her absence will be felt tremendously by her family and all of the many friends that knew and loved her sweet soul.
Rest now, sweet Mama. Your journey is through
No more pain lingers, no shadows pursue.
God's got you now, his presence is near.
So rest now sweet mama. We'll take it from here..
