Carolyn Ann Baker, a beloved wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on October 1, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on June 8, 1953, in Ft. Worth, TX, to Ralph A. and Juldine (Griffen) Norton, Carolyn lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished moments.
Throughout her life, Carolyn found joy in the simple pleasures-whether it was getting lost in her favorite TV shows like "CSI," "Gunsmoke," and "Married With Children," or reliving the happy days of dancing and camping adventures with her husband, John Giddens.
Carolyn is survived by her devoted husband, John, who will forever cherish their life together; her sister Linda Golson and brother-in-law Eddie of Carrabelle, FL; her brother Terry Norton and sister-in-law Sandy of Granbury; as well as her longtime close friend, George Klecan of Ft. Worth. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her warmth and kindness.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ralph and Juldine Norton, and her two brothers, Dewayne Young and Ray Norton.
The family is planning a private viewing, and the burial of Carolyn's remains will take place at a later date at the Murray Cemetery in Carbon, TX. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home - Eastland.
