Donald Billington

It is with a heavy heart that we announce Donald Charles Billington, age 68, has completed his life's journey on Sunday May 11th, 2025.

Donald lived his life full of passion and in his own way. He was quick to humor in any situation to help ease any tension or make you feel welcome. He had a heart of gold and was well known for his witty remarks and living life the way he wanted to without apology, and we loved him for it.

Donald worked in many different trades during his life including oil field, mechanics, construction, and truck driving. He traveled all over the country experiencing every aspect of life he could get his hands on and loved every minute of it. He would boast, "Well, I'm the Jack of all trades!" if you had a question or needed help, and he truly was.

Donald is survived by his daughter Portia Allgood, his son Jared Billington, his grandchildren Tacey Elrod and Brittyn Billington, his sisters Judy Newman, Charlene Hudson, and Janice Walker, his brothers Allen Billington and Trulon Billington, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and all their spouses and children.

Donald is preceded in death by his father John Billington, his mother Wanda Billington, his Sister-in-law Janelle Billington, and his niece Ashley Greene.

The family is holding a private memorial service on Saturday May 17th for close relatives and family friends. Donald is being cremated and sent home with a few family members and some ashes will be spread in Hereford, Tx, the place he always felt most at home.
