Dora Tucker

June 16, 1942 — May 12, 2025

Faye Tucker, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully transitioned from this life on May 12, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on June 16, 1942, in Eastland, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Lomer Elton Phelps and Vadis Waneta Murray Tucker. On July 18, 1959, she united in marriage with her devoted husband, Bobby Lee Tucker, in Carbon, Texas, embarking on a journey filled with love and family.

Faye was known for her artistic talents, particularly in ceramics, and her keen eye for beauty, which she expressed through her passion for browsing hobby and thrift shops. A dedicated homemaker, she took immense joy in cooking and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by her family.

A faithful member of the Baptist community, Faye's spirit touched many lives. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, two sisters, and one brother, she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. Faye is survived by her two sons, Clint Tucker (Amanda) and Mart Tucker (Cindy); her daughter of the heart, Ann Lowrie (Shane); grandchildren Lacey Winn (Michael), Laura Tinsley (Michael), Leah Mueggenborg (Justin), Zoey Macon (Cole), and Jacob Holland (Myra); great-grandchildren Tucker and Harper Winn, Caroline and Townes Tinsley, Bode and Kodi Mueggenborg, Wesley Holland, and Clemson Macon (due in June); as well as nieces Mitzi McGaha and Kelly Carruth (Jim) and several great-nieces and nephews.

In honor of her life and spirit, funeral services will be held at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland on May 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at 2:45 PM, where she will be laid to rest.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Carbon Volunteer Fire Department, honoring Faye's community spirit and love for those around her.

Faye Tucker will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
