EASTLAND – Elva Alcantar, age 71, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 16, 2021. Services will be held Monday, September 20th at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland from 3:00-5:00 PM.
Elva was born August 16, 1950 to Felipe Mendoza and Maria Mendoza in San Benito, Texas. She was a hard-working Nurse with her LVN degree, but most importantly a loving and dedicated mom and grandma. Elva loved casinos, going to Florida, and spending time with her family, friends, and grandkids.
Elva is survived by sons, Robert and Phillip Montez; daughters, Mary Lou Lara and Susan Montez; brothers, Daniel and Chapo Mendoza; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 4 great grand-dogs.
