EULESS – Glenna Frances Weaver Crabtree, 84, formerly of Ranger passed from this life Monday, September 14, 2015. Graveside services will be 12:30pm Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger. A visitation will be held from 10:30am - 12:00 on Saturday before the graveside service at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger.
Glenna was born November 10, 1930 in Ranger to Jesse and Mae Estes Weaver. She was a graduate of Ranger High School where she was the Valedictorian, and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ranger. Glenna loved to garden and make things grow. She was also an avid reader and loved a good mystery. She was well versed and well-read and could hold a conversation with anyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Mae Weaver.
Glenna is survived by two sons: Tony Crabtree and his wife Margaret of Dallas, and Jimmie Crabtree of Arlington and one daughter: Debra Carlson of Austin. She is also survived by granddaughters: Cassie Crabtree of Dallas and Elinda Carlson of Augusta, Maine and grandson: Eric Carlson and his wife Joanne of Austin and one precious great-grandson Trevis Carlson.
In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Ranger.
