Helen Dorothy (Crawford) McQueary

Helen Dorothy McQueary, 91, of Benbrook, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025.

Dorothy was born May 15, 1934, in Bertram, Texas, to W.J. and Ada Crawford. She graduated from Moorpark High School in Moorpark, California, in 1952.

Dorothy was married to Donald Ray "Tony" McQueary for 67 years until his passing in 2020. Together, they built a loving family and a life of devotion to one another.

In her early years, Dorothy dedicated herself to raising her children as a homemaker. Later, she enjoyed a successful career at Alcon Laboratories, where she worked until her retirement.

Dorothy is survived by her sisters, Geneva (John) and JoAnn (Larry); her children, Donald Ray Jr. (Pam), Carrie Lynn McQueary, and Brenda Joyce McQueary Haltom (Jim); 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony, and her brother, Theodore Eugene Crawford.

Dorothy's legacy is one of love, grace, and kindness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
