Karen Jackson

September 10, 1951 — January 5, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Karen Sue (Parker) Jackson, who left this world on January 5, 2026, in Gordon, Texas. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Karen embodied kindness and strength throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.

Born on September 10, 1951, to TN and Faye June Parker in Ranger, Texas, Karen grew up to be a remarkable woman with a zest for life. After graduating from Permian High School in 1970, she entered into a loving marriage with Larry Jackson that same year, beginning a partnership that would last through the trials and triumphs of life.

Karen devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, proudly raising her son, Daniel Jackson (Denise), and celebrating the joy of being a grandmother to Tyler and Taran Jackson. She took immense pride in her loved ones, and her warmth and nurturing spirit will forever resonate in their hearts.

In addition to her son and grandchildren, Karen leaves behind her cherished siblings: Deanna (Mike) Hamilton, Pam (Blake) Beyer, Mary (Dennis) Hamilton, and Tommye Lynn Parker, who will hold her memory close as they navigate life without her.

Karen is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Larry Jackson, and her beloved brothers, Johnny and Joseph Parker. Their spirits continue to live on in the stories shared and the memories cherished by all who knew them.

A graveside service in Karen's honor will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at New Gordon Cemetery. Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Karen are invited to come together to celebrate her remarkable life and the indelible legacy she leaves behind.

Karen Sue Jackson's gentle spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed but will forever shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
