Kathleen 'Kathy' Marie Smithson, 55, of Eastland, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the River of Life Church in Eastland. The family will receive friends on Friday, 5~7:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Louis P. Paquin and Deloris June Hood; her husband, Wesley Smithson; a brother, Louis Paquin; and one grandson.
Survivors include her son, Jamey Paquin and wife Betsy; a daughter, Sandra Paquin; brother, Joe Paquin; sisters, Sandra Gomez, Shon Tafte, Vicky Smithson, Sharon Davis, Lois Bryant, Donna Bell and Elizabeth Reed; and two grandchildren.
Kathy was a member of the Gunsight Baptist Church and was the assistant manager of Higginbotham-Barlett Co. in Eastland.
Kathy was a mom, sister and friend will be greatly missed by everyone she touched.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Goodfellows.
