Kenneth Dewayne Lewis, age 71, passed away on March 29, 2026, in Eastland, Texas. Born on November 21, 1954, in Sweetwater, Texas, Kenneth was the son of Charles Robert and Fleta Pansy "Pat" (Aven) Lewis.
He married his beloved wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Henden, on July 7, 1991, in Wylie, Texas. Together, they shared a life filled with laughter, love, and companionship. Kenneth was a proud veteran who served honorably in the United States Air Force from January 31, 1972, until his discharge on April 16, 1974. His sense of duty and commitment to his country shaped the foundation of his character.
Kenneth's passion for the open road was evident in his career as a truck driver within the transportation industry. He found joy in the freedom of driving and often reminisced about the adventures he experienced on the long stretches of highway. An avid car enthusiast, he loved to indulge in the thrill of car racing and enjoyed riding motorcycles; these hobbies brought him immense joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his three daughters, Christy Lee and her husband, Cody of Lone Camp; Lacy Phillips and her husband, JB of Olden; and Amber Wilson and her husband, David of Stephenville. He also leaves behind six beloved grandchildren: Kaylee Knight, Brayden Phillips, Cameron Smith, Alyssa Mattison, Colt Wilson, and Garrett Lee, along with two great-grandchildren, Ross and Avery Mattison. Kenneth is additionally survived by his brothers, Wendal "Floyd" Spain, Jimmy Lewis, and Robert Lewis; his sister, JoAnn Picklesiemer; and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lewis; mother, Pat Bevill; wife, Cindy Lewis; and brother, Todd Spain.
Cremation arrangements will be handled by Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland. There are no planned services at this time.
