Larry Eugene Mayberry

Larry Mayberry, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him

Larry was the son of the late Marie B. Mayberry.

He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Carla Mayberry; his children, Terri Boan and her husband, Daniel; Brandy Evans and her husband, Nathan; Jason Hazelton; and Jeremy Hazelton and his wife, Shelly.

He is also survived by his siblings, Clyde Mayberry, Terri MoCormick, and Linnley MaCormick.

Larry was a proud grandfather to Rebeca, Gage, Ridlie, Jake, Kyle, Marissa, Lyric, Madeline, Grayson, and Zane. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Matthew, Shayla, Aurora, Kylie, and Kyle Wayne Jr., all of whom brought him tremendous joy.

Larry will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, the wisdom he passed down, and the countless memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Though he is gone from our sight, his spirit and the love he gave will remain with his family forever.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn.
