Linda Dianne Webb

Linda Diane Webb, 72, of Eastland, TX passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, September 9th. She was a beloved mother, and friend, and she will be deeply missed. Born on October 21st, 1953, to parents Sammie (Murrell) and Leonard Newsom, she was a graduate of Tarleton State University, and the first woman to be employed by the Veteran's Land Board, subsequently going on to enjoy a successful freelance career in real estate appraisal. She was an animal lover and an avid green thumb, adorning her home with numerous flowers and plants.

She is survived by her brother Robert Newsom, her two children, Valerie Webb-Barroso and Ross Webb, and one grandson, Ian Barroso.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no memorial service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home - Eastland.
