Nona Fox

Nona Louise Fox, 82, grew up in Eastland, Tx. and lived there until 2018. She passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

Born on January 1, 1944 in Cocoa Beach, FL, she was the child of J.C. and Barbara Butler. Nona graduated from Eastland High School and went on to work at Eastland National Bank. She especially loved spending time with her family, who always enjoyed her amazing pot roast and chocolate delight. She loved tending to her flower garden, keeping her hummingbird feeders full and going on her daily walks.

Nona is survived by her children, Derrik Fox and wife Jalea, Dana McCune and husband Rodney; four granddaughters, Brittney, and husband Brian, Chelcie, Marley and fiancé Jarrod and Macey and husband Nick; three great grandchildren, Jacob, Miles and Ellie; two brothers, Randy and wife Kay and Gary and wife Kathy Butler.

Nona is preceded in death by her father, mother, sister Linda and husband Raymond. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 10:00am-12:00pm at Edward's Funeral Home in Eastland. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Merriman Cemetery.
