Norma McDaniel

July 1, 1964 — October 5, 2025

Norma McDaniel, born on July 1, 1964, touched the lives of many during her 61 years on this earth. She was a devoted wife to Gary McDaniel Sr., and a fiercely loyal and compassionate mother to her five children: Yahel, Yahchanan, Gary Wayne, Margret, and Abiyah McDaniel. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Madeleine McDaniel, Izeiah Willis, Ishmael McDaniel, Oliver McDaniel, Lauryn Weaver, and Finnley McDaniel.

Norma is survived by her mother, Janie Caudillo; her brothers James and Vince Caudillo; as well as her sisters, Deanna Bowman, and Brenda Hopkins.

Norma passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her family and loved ones. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, she is now at peace and free from pain.

Norma was a tireless servant to her family and friends, yet she still found time to volunteer at The Assembly of Yahweh-giving back to the community she loved and helping those who were less fortunate or in need.

Never one to shy away from a challenge and always striving to improve herself, Norma pursued her advanced degrees later in life. She earned an Associate's Degree in Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Tarleton State University, where she frequently made the Dean's List-a testament to her hard work and dedication.

Norma carried herself with grace and was never quick to anger. She was the balm that soothed an anxious mind, always offering a listening ear and a kind heart for the troubles of others. Her lifelong acts of kindness and generosity spoke volumes about her character and set an example we should all aspire to follow.

Though Norma may be gone from this world, she will forever be carried in the hearts of her husband, her children, grandchildren, and friends who will keep her memory alive.

Farewell, Mom, friend, confidant, and ally-until we meet again in The Kingdom.

The laying to rest of Norma McDaniel will commence at The Romney Cemetery Services, in Rising Star, TX, on Thursday October 9th, at 2:00 pm.

It is across the street from the Assembly of Yahweh, which is located at 109 County Road 280, Rising Star, TX 76471
