Patricia Little

Patricia Janice Little, 87, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025 in Cisco, Texas.
Born on May 12, 1938 in Lubbock, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Bruce Carlton and Leona (Reeves) Daniel.

While attending college in San Angelo, Texas she met William "Bill" Little and they married on March 1, 1956 in San Angelo, Texas. Bill and Pat began their life together in El Paso, Texas where Bill worked for El Paso Natural Gas and Pat began a career in banking and finance. Bill was an adventurer by heart. They found they enjoyed travel and each trip seemed to include a story of them winding up being someplace they shouldn't have been - jumping volcano craters in Hawaii, climbing a fence to see a beautiful courtyard in Mexico, racing for the border to get out of the Gaza Strip. Bill's confidence and quick wit got them out of many predicaments and telling the story led to lots of laughter. They enjoyed being together and they lived a blessed life.

Bill and Pat retired in 1996 and moved to Morton Valley. They joined First Baptist Church in Eastland and became active members of the Praise Class where they built many lasting friendships. When Bill passed away in March, 2011, Pat's kids thought she would move to the MetroPlex but she was determined to maintain her independence. Bill had been selling carports as a side job so Pat decided she could do that and took over. She got another part time job working on call with Edward Jones. She continued being secretary of the Praise Class and put together a team of Prayer Warriors to pray on Sunday mornings. She chaired the Bereavement Committee. She was in Eastern Star. She joined a book club. She just liked being busy.

As she got older and slower, she began struggling with dementia. After a while, she moved to Cisco Nursing & Rehab and spent the last 3½ years loving and being loved by the nurses and caregivers. The family wants to thank everyone at Cisco Nursing & Rehab for their love and care. They also want to thank the nurses and caregivers at Solaris Hospice for their care the last six months.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy and husband, Mike of Eastland, Texas and son, Bill and wife, Jane of Prosper, Texas. She is also survived by her beloved grandson, Lance Little and his wife, Grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Leona Daniel and husband, William "Bill" Little, Jr.

Pallbearers are Lance Little, John Castenuela, Bill Dowell, Steve Groce, John Page and Kevin West.

Funeral services for Pat will be held Friday, December 19, 2025 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church Eastland with Dr. Shawn Brewer officiating. Interment will follow at Eastland Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Edwards Funeral Home Eastland.
