Robert (Bob) Earl Gregg, 68, of Morton Valley, Texas, passed away on December 4, 2025.
Bob lived a life defined by service, humility, and deep love for his family and community. He served his country in the United States Navy retiring after 20 years, carrying with him the values of honor and integrity throughout his life. After retirement he continued his aviation career with American Eagle Aviation Services in Abilene, Texas. After 15 years of service to that company he continued working with Air Evac as an aviation mechanic. He fully retired at the age of 60.
He is survived by his two sons, Cody Gregg and his wife Alyssa, and Clayton Gregg and his wife Ashton; his cherished grandchildren, Brynlee, Birdie, and Harper Gregg; his mother, Pat Redman; his brother, Bill Gregg; and his sister, Kathy Kasper. He is also remembered by extended family members and countless friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, William Young Gregg and the mother of his children Tina Marie Gregg.
He dedicated many years to guiding young people as a Boy Scout Master, a faithful volunteer at the Eastland County Food Pantry and many other organizations in Eastland County where he was known for his kindness, reliability, and willingness to help anyone in need.
Bob will be remembered for his gentle spirit, steady presence, and unwavering commitment to serving others.
A memorial service will be held at a later date following cremation.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
