Ronald Bulman

On Sunday August 3, 2025, our beloved father, husband, papa and friend passed away having been surrounded by is his family and friends in the previous days.

Ron was a loving husband to his wife, Susan Renee Bulman of Dublin TX and a proud father of his 4 children, Dusty Bulman of Dublin TX, Melissa Hemby of Oklahoma City, OK, Heather Campi of Malibu CA and John Bulman who he is proceeded in death by and will be laid to rest next to.

Ron was a proud Texas Native, born in Fort Worth on October 30, 1956. As a child he moved around the country with his family for his father's work, at one point living in Colorado, which he fell in love with for its beauty and would visit several times throughout his life. Each year he kept a calendar of the beautiful mountain scenery hung by his desk and would often say the only other place he would have wanted to live other than Texas was Colorado.

Ron was a graduate of Lawrence D. Bell High School, class of 1974 and later attended The University of Texas at Arlington where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration. Throughout his years in management he made many great friendships which he cherished and often talked about. He ended his career by retiring from Tarleton State University in 2021 where he worked in the Biology Department as a store supervisor for 17 years.

In his free time you could find Ron in Strawn TX supporting the Strawn Greyhounds 6 man football team to whom he was a devoted fan or routing for his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed reading about and discussing the life and death of JFK and enjoyed serving as a moderator to a JFK discussion board where he made friends and acquaintances who shared his interests. Ron was also a lifetime lover of music, having attended many concerts during his younger years with his favorite artists being The Rolling Stones, Merle Haggard, Sonny Burgess, Willie Nelson, George Strait and Stevie Ray Vaughan just to name a few.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Susan Renee Bulman; his children, Dusty Bulman, Melissa Ann Hemby and son in law Sam Hemby and Heather Campi as well as his step children Stormi Worthington of Justin Texas and Scott Tanner of Justin Texas. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren for whom he had a tremendous amount of love and adoration for. Ron is preceded in death by his parents Philip Warren Bulman and Ida Delene Cordella Ferrell and his son, John Bulman.

As per his request, Ron's funeral will be held graveside at Mount Marion Cemetery in Strawn Texas on Friday August 8, 2025 at 10am. Friends and family are invited to share in his service and pay their respects and are welcome to join the immediate family at Mary's Cafe in Strawn following the service.
