Ruth Mcfadden

Ruth Haley McFadden, 90, of Olden, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in Eastland. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland. Burial will follow in the Alameda Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, 6~8:00 p.m. Ruth was born March 15, 1923 in Snyder, TX to Matthew Finch and Hattie Mae (Johnson) Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Olden Church of Christ, as well as a member of DAV. She enjoyed knitting and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands, Pink Haley and Billy Joe McFadden. Survivors include 3 sons, Arthur Roy Haley of Olden, Joe David Haley and wife Elise of Alamogordo, NM, and Charles Matthew Haley and wife Debra of Conroe; a sister, Faye Iley and husband Wayne of Dublin; grandchildren, Scotty Matthew Haley and Shanna Mae Haley-McBane; great-grandchildren, Devin Matthew Haley, Brooke Elizabeth Haley and Austin Taylor Haley.
