SANTA ANNA – Samuel Arthur Scott, 73, of Santa Anna, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 in Santa Anna. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Eastland City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland on Wednesday from 6 until 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Scott was born on March 4, 1940 in Gorman to Aleck and Dora (Hallmark) Scott. He married Joann Cunningham on May 27, 1983 in Las Vegas. He was a truck driver for the railroad and a mason.
Survivors include his wife, Joann Scott of Santa Anna; 4 sons, David Scott & wife Regena of Ft. Worth, Randy Scott & wife Tisha of Ft. Worth, Johnny Sanders of Santa Anna, Luke Sanders & wife Becky of Springtown; 2 daughters, Lori Moore & husband Ronnie of Jacksonville, and Christi Robertson & husband John of Santa Anna; brother, Frank Scott of Ft. Worth; sister, Allean Lawson of Ft. Worth; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
